# Connect with Zapier

> An OutboundLegal app for Zapier is coming.

<Info>
  **Coming soon.** We're building an OutboundLegal app for Zapier, so you can connect your case system without writing code. Email [support@outboundlegal.com](mailto:support@outboundlegal.com) if you'd like to try it early.
</Info>

## What it will do

* **Add or update a client** when a client is added or changed in your case system.
* **Mark a case settled** when a matter settles, so your case-settled [client letters](/help/client-letters) know to go out. (You still approve every letter before it mails.)
* **New prospect** (digital bundle only): send each new prospect to your CRM as a **cold lead** — a person who hasn't contacted your firm.

## What you'll need

* An API key from **Settings → Integrations → API keys**. See [API keys](/help/api-keys). Give it a name like "Zapier" so you can tell it apart.
* A Zapier account.

When you connect, Zapier checks the key with [`GET /me`](/api-reference/account/check-your-key).

## Until then

Anyone comfortable with Zapier's **Webhooks by Zapier** step can call the API directly. Start with the [Introduction](/api/introduction).
