# Your account and signing in

> Change your password or email, give a colleague access, and get back in if you're locked out.

This page covers your own login: changing your password or email address, getting a colleague access, and what to do if you can't sign in.

All of these settings are under your name at the bottom of the sidebar. Click it, then **Settings**.

## Change your password

1. Go to **Settings → Password**.
2. Type your new password under **New Password**. It must be at least 6 characters.
3. Type it again under **Confirm Password**.
4. Click **Update Password**.

## Change your email address

1. Go to **Settings → Email**.
2. Enter the new address and click **Update email**.
3. We send a verification email. Open it and click the link to confirm the change.

Until you confirm, keep signing in with your old address.

## Update your details

Go to **Settings → General** to update your name, company, website, phone, and mailing address. Click **Save Changes** when you're done.

## Who can sign in

Each person has their own email address and password. Please don't share logins. Instead, give each colleague their own teammate login (below).

## Give a colleague access

The account owner can add teammates in **Settings → Team**.

1. Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar, then **Settings → Team**.
2. Click **Add teammate**, enter their name and email address, and choose which counties they can see (all of them, or just some).
3. We email them a link to set a password. Until they do, they show as **Invited**. You can click **Resend invite** if the email gets lost.

Teammates can see prospects and download spreadsheets for the counties you chose. They can't change campaigns, settings or billing.

You get one teammate seat for each county you subscribe to. The page shows how many seats you've used.

**To remove someone** — for example, when they leave your firm — remove them on **Settings → Team**. They lose access to your counties right away. You can add them again later.

Only the account owner sees **Settings → Team**. If you need a teammate to have more than view-only access, contact us.

## If you can't sign in

**You forgot your password.**

1. On the **Sign in** page, click **Forgot Password?**.
2. Enter your email address and click **Reset Password**.
3. Open the email we send and click the link.
4. Choose a new password and sign in.

**The link says "That link is invalid or has expired."** Links in these emails only work for a limited time and only once. Go back to **Forgot Password?** to get a fresh one, or ask us to resend your invitation.

**The reset email doesn't arrive.** Check your spam or junk folder. Make sure you typed the same address you use to sign in. If it still hasn't come after a few minutes, contact us.

**Your whole firm can't sign in.** Sign-in can be turned off for an account with an unpaid balance. See [Billing and your subscription](/help/billing-and-your-subscription). Once the balance is paid, sign-in comes back automatically. If that isn't the reason, contact us.

**Anything else:** email [support@outboundlegal.com](mailto:support@outboundlegal.com) with the address you sign in with, and we'll sort it out.
